Sculpting with a Felting Needle

Needlefelting II

Learn to manipulate fiber to create a puppet character of your choice.  The felting needle and all materials to complete your project will be included.  Almost any color you can think of will be available as well as tools for blending colors and foam work squares.
Bring a lunch along as this is a 4-hour class.  Maybe I will make "donkey" to keep Shrek in agony.


Penny Rug Construction

Using new and recycled fulled wools and felt pieces, you will create your own penny rug
heirloom piece.  All materials will be provided to finish your piece.  The intricacy of your rug will determine its completion in this 5-hour class.  Several sewing machines will be
needed as well a lunch.  Plenty of pattern pieces will be available for use or you may create your own design.  This is a creative, fun, can't make a mistake class. 


Introduction to Australian Locker Hooking

Learn the techniques to create your own Australian Locker Hooked wall hanging.  The
hanging we will make will include all the techniques needed to create the most intricate
wall hanging or the most durable rug to grace your home.  All materials will be included
to finish this project as well as the hooking needle.  I will also share my secrets on finishing, changing colors and weaving in ends as you go.

Beginners can accomplish this striped beauty.

 


Australian Locker Hooking
For the more experienced "hooker"

Using graph paper and your imagination you will create your own ALH rug to grace the floors of your home. Class fee:  $20.00/class (2)-3-hour classes meeting on two different days.  Materials and canvas purchased separately as size and fiber contents will be of your own choosing.
